Store Clerk Saves an Elderly Woman From a Possible Two Thousand Dollar Scam

A cashier at a Kroger store out of Ohio by the name of Shelly Yost was busy working when she noticed something that was quite strange.

When an elderly woman came through her line with $2,000 worth of iTunes gift cards, Yost, out of curiosity, questioned her purchasing so many gift cards. It was at that moment, her suspicions were justified. The woman told her that she had gotten a phone call directing her to bail her granddaughter out of jail with those gift cards.

Thanks to Shelly’s swift actions, a potential scam victim was saved. Like Yost, we should always be ready to step up when we are presented with the opportunity to make right out of any possible wrong. #Rewordit!
